Watch Me Drown
Tie me down and watch me drown. Held down by an anchor. Sheltered myself in. Sheltered myself from the outside world. Felt nothing, but emptiness and hopelessness. Knew what needed to be done, but time felt against me. Was drowning faster than I was rising. Something was telling me that this was not okay, but always meant to be. Watch me drown as I live a life without meaning. Drowning my sorrows as I drown myself away. Drowning myself all the way to the bottom to the point of suicide. Suicidal thoughts drown this mind every day. Every day it feels like the end of my life.
